Parva |
The Sabha
organises Milan Parva after every two years. It
is a sort of get together for the members and
their families. Distinguished guests and invited
cultural programme by the well known artists is
presented. Lunch is also served on the occasion.

(Samarika) |
A Samarika
is published on the occasion of the Milan Parva.
Various activities of the Sabha, articles on social
abuses etc are published. The Samarika is generally
edited by Sh. H.K. Pahuja. |

| DERA
Gaurav |
The Sabha
has a tradition of honouring Distinguished
persons who have contributed in their respective
fields.
Ch. Dharam Bir
Gaba, MLA and chief pattern of
the Sabha was honoured with Dera Gaurav
in 1998. Sh. Gaubaji is a guiding spirit
and source of inspiration for the management
committee. He is perhaps the first Derawal
to be elected as MLA (Haryana).
In 2006 Sh. N.C.
Wadhwa, IAS, was honored with Dera
Gaurav. Sh. Wadhwaji belongs to a common
family, yet by dint of hard work he rose
to the status of IAS.

Health Checkup Camps |
From time
to time Sabha organizes General Health check-up
Camps. Medical teams from famed Hospitals are
invited to give their services.

Eye operation Camps |
These
eye camps are organized every year. About
300 cases of OPD are checked and provided
free medical aid and advice. About 80 patients
are operated with I.O.L. facilities.

Heart Checkup Camp |
A free
heart check up camp was organized by the
sabha with Dr. Naresh Trehan, well known
cardiologist. All types of tests like ECG,
ECHO, etc was done free. Dr. Sanjay Mittal,
Dr. Kasliwal and other members of Medical
and para medical provided the services.

| Matrimonial
Services : |
The Sabha
is providing matrimonial service on every
Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. This
project is being handled by Sh. D.D Batra
for the last 15 years.

| Eye
Donation Seminar : |
The Sabha
organised and eye donation seminar with
the help of Y.P Mahendru, Niramaya Eye Bank,
Gurgaon. Dr. Radhika Tandon, Head National
Eye Bank of Rajendra Prasad Hospital, New
Delhi gave a talk to inspire the people
to donate eyes.

The Sabha
uses Derawal Bhawan for social functions
of the society.

| Prichaya
Sammelan : |
A PARICHAY SAMMELAN was organised by the sabha on 27.4.08. It was in continuance of our Matrimonial Service Programme(Every Sunday 12 noon to 2.00 pm). 413 particulars of marriageable boys and girls of panjabi community were registered between 9.3.08 to 20.4.08. There particulars were published in a book entitled "PRICHAY PUSTIKA" edited by the president of the sabha Sh.H.K PAHUJA. It was released by our worthy cheif patron Ch.DHARAMBIR GABA, M.L.A. Parents attended the sammelan to select suitable matches for their wards. The gathering war about 1000. Tea & lunch was served. The people made free of our website www.derawal.net and download the concerned forms.
It was proposed thet rich land of sammelan should be organized every year or it was the need of the time. The workers of the sabha did well to make the function success.
